PAT Testing

Electrical appliances are one of the most common causes of fire incidents. The testing of all electrical appliances and cable is necessary to ensure they are in safe condition. Carrying out the test is important to meet the standard laid out by electricity work regulation and in compliance with British standard BS7671. As approved PAT testing contractors, we carryout electrical appliance testing with utmost diligence ensuring it's safety with appropriate status, labels and full listed documentations and certification as evidence of compliance with legislation and guidance with minimum disruptions to business activities. We offer out of hours services to achieve non-disruption to your business. No amount of job is too small for us to do as we understand some small establishment may have very limited appliances and we can cover your business needs. Although not a legal requirement but good practice to ensure safety of appliances as well as evidence of effort to comply to making the work place safe as required by Health and Safety at Work Act (1974). The electricity at work Regulation 1987 do not states the frequency of testing appliances; it is however recommended to be done annually and every two years at the most depending on the frequency of use, load , type etc. using a risk based approach.
